these images read from the bottom to the top...when I started doing them I thought it was a short term thing we were going through, but as it became apparent that this was going to rumble on and become quite a feat of emotional endurance for us all, I decided to park it and focus on other things as it was hard to see the humour in a situation that would leave such a profound impact on every generation in a multitude of ways - not just immediate impacts but pervasive and equally or more grave - to name a few: jobs, mental health, the inadequate education provision for so many (I am a teacher, so that is not a criticism of what teachers have tried to do but a reality of inadequate learning environments and technological limitations and learning styles or difficulties for age and needs) so I decided to stop thinking covid-19 and just work on other creative projects and get on with supporting students remotely!
